We are committed to making a positive impact  and helping others experience the "perfect peace" that comes from faith in Jesus Christ, and obedience to the Holy Spirit.

A Message Regarding Tithes and Offerings

Bring your "tithes and offerings" into the storehouse so that God's work may be done.  The Bible is clear in stating that God is the owner of all we have (Psalm 24:1) and it instructs us to give within our means (2 Corinthians 8:12).  We are to be stewards of all God has given us (Luke 16:10-13) and to love God not money (1 Timothy 6:6-10).  In Malachi 3:6-18, God said "Test me in this, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."

Your church leaders and Finance Committee members are committed to managing resources responsibly, with transparency, integrity and accountability to the church family.  Each year, with much prayer and review, a budget, designed to further the mission of making disciples of Christ, is presented to the congregation for review, discussion and, finally, approval.

Your tithes and offerings make it possible to do the Lord's work, and we thank you for your giving.  May God bless you.

Announcements

  • Annual Valentine's Banquet - February 14

    We will be having our Valentine's Banquet on Saturday, February 14th at 6:00 pm.  Please sign up in the Family Life Center.  There is no charge for Church Members, however there will be a $10 charge for non-church members/guests.  Contact the church office to make payment.  RSVP by February 4th.

  • Senior Social - February 17

    On Tuesday, February 17, the seniors gather at the Family Life Center at 10:30 am for the Senior Social.  All are invited to participate.   Contact Oscar or Dominga Guerra, or call the church office for more information.

  • Business Meeting - February 18

    The business meeting will be on Wednesday, February 18, during the regular Bible study and prayer time.  It is a time to conduct the business of the church.  All members are encouraged to attend.

     

  • Men's Prayer Breakfast - February 21

    Men will meet in the Family Life Center on Saturday, February 21, at 9:00 am for a great, free breakfast and time in fellowship together.  All are invited to participate.

  • Upward Sports Basketball League

    We are excited to launch a Spring Upward Sports Basketball League at our church.  The league is open to boys and girls from 1st through 8th grades.  Skills evaluations, in order to build balanced teams, will be held on Sunday, March 8th between 5:00 - 7:00 pm (come at any time).

    What to expect:  1 practice and 1 game per week, team devotions, make new friends, equal playing time and healthy competition.  Participants will be required to be respectful of all volunteers, participants and of the church facility and property.

    There is a $60 Registration Fee for the first child and a $5 discount for each additional child ($55 fee each).

  • Online Giving via Tithe.LY

    You can now give your tithes and offerings via Tithe.LY online or using the Tithe.LY app.  Information will be provided in the Sunday morning worship service bulletin and overhead slides, or you can go to the "Online Giving" link above.  You can use a debit or credit card or link directly to your bank account.  A small fees apply to each transaction, however fees are lower when linking directly to your bank account.  You can choose to cover the fees or not.  You can designate your gift to one of three funds - General Fund, Sanctuary Fund or Memorial Fund.  Contact Tami Pfluger in the church office for more information.

  • Sign Up for a Church Committee

    Get involved in serving your church.  We are filling church committees now - Building & Grounds, Children's, Youth, Kitchen, Men's, Women's, etc.  Contact the church office for more information.

  • Seeking Volunteers

    We are always welcoming volunteers to our various programs.  Whether its assisting in the pre-school Sunday School class, rocking babies in the nursery, serving on a church committee, card writing, assisting seniors, coordinating youth activities, or working with technology (presentations, online streaming, sound systems, website, social media), we can use your help.  It's a great way to serve in the Lord's work and to get to know other believers.  Call the church office, email us at fbcodem@aol.com, or visit with our Deacons or any church members.
